Dr. Lynn Vivian
About Me
Dr. Lynn Vivian is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience. She provides individual and marital psychotherapy. She enjoys working with older teens and adults of all ages. Her specialty areas include anxiety, insomnia, depression, grief, aging, marriage and family. She works with multi-generational families and individuals who are coping with stress related to major life changes.
A North Carolina native, Dr. Vivian received her undergraduate degree from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. She completed her master’s and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Mississippi and completed an APA accredited internship at the Houston VA Medical Center. Dr. Vivian completed a post-doctoral fellowship in geriatric psychology at Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences in Houston. She served as a clinical consultant and coordinator for community mental health programs in the Carolinas before beginning private practice in Charlotte over 30 years ago.
Dr. Vivian enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, two children and three young grandchildren.
